Short Round also known as Wan Li (Born 1924) is a friend and companion to Indiana Jones, as seen in the second Indiana Jones film, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The character is often seen wearing a New York Giants baseball cap. Short Round was played by Jonathan Ke Quan (credited at the time as Ke Huy Quan), in his first credited appearance.
The name Short Round is a nickname — though it is not mentioned in the film, the official Indiana Jones website lists his real name as "Wan Li".

Wan Li was born 1924 and was only 4 when the japanese bombed Shanghai. He was the only survivor of the family. One day he tried to pick Indiana Jones' pocket. And ever since they have been great friends. Short Round is the son of the Short Round's Dad appears in a family day.
Short Round accompanied Indy in many daring missions; in 1935 he even followed him to the Temple of Doom to retreive the Sankara Stones.

Short Round will be a playable character in LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. He possesses the Small Access ability, which allows him to enter tunnels too small for adult characters to traverse. His attacks are punch, kick and spin jump kick.
